TOP FIVE QUESTIONS

Confused about getting into beauty school?
Here are answers to your top five questions.

1. How do I get in?
States will differ on admissions guidelines, however, the state of Missouri requires that an applicant for beauty school must have obtained a High School diploma or GED. (If you received your high school credits in a country other than the United States, call us and we will help you with the proper protocol.)

2. How do I choose a school?
Whatever you do, don't just choose the beauty school closest to you. You should research schools in your area and take into account things like the background of the staff, instructor-student ratios, equipment, continuing education and the percentage of students who take and pass the state board exams. The best beauty school for you will be the institution that offers you the opportunity to get the most hands-on experience with real customers.

3. How do I know if attending beauty school is the right decision?
If you're someone who has a taste for style and a concern for bringing out the best in someone, a career in the beauty industry is the right decision for you. It's one of those vocations that will always be needed and will require a human being to deliver those services. As a result, graduates of beauty schools will see an increase in employment at places like salons, spas, cruise shops and hotels.
